My love of chocolate began years ago with extraordinary trips to Guatemala and Belize with a beloved friend and sacred tour guide Junia. We endeavored to experience the culture of Cacao.  We hiked through jungles with a local guide and participated in Healing Cacao Ceremony. What memorable and educational Adventures. At Maya Mountain Cacao Cooperative we were educated on the process of cacao production and learned how small family growers can earn a living, formerly shut out by corporate plantations. I was humbled by the hands on labor intensive process to create chocolate. 

In 2016 I attended Ecole Chocolate Professional School of Chocolate Arts in Vancouver. The Chef trainers were remarkable with extensive training in various aspects of custom chocolate creations.
